Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur Police have arrested three men for kidnapping a 16-year-old girl from Rewa district, as reported on Saturday.
According to information, the incident took place under the jurisdiction of Atariya police station area of Rewa, where the victim girl had gone out for some household work.
Taking advantage of the moment, the accused kidnapped her and fled in a car towards Jabalpur. It is said that the accused were people who were already known to the girl.
According to police, the accused have been identified as Mohammad Ahmed, Shahid Khan, and Mohammad Mahfooz alias Raju. All three are residents of the Hanumantal area in Jabalpur.

Acting on the tip-off, Jabalpur police team set up a blockade near Amadara which is close to Maihar. They stopped the car after finding it suspicious and managed to catch the accused along with the girl.
All three men are now in police custody, and further investigation is underway.
