22-Year-Old Bhajan Singer Drowns While Taking Holy Dip In Narmada On Guru Purnima
The incident happened around 5.30 pm when Raj's leg got stuck in the railing of the fountain in the river while bathing.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 22-year-old Bhajan singer drowned at Ram Ghat in Amarkantak while taking a holy dip in the Narmada on the occasion of Guru Purnima on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Raj Bhadoria.
The incident happened around 5.30 pm when Raj's leg got stuck in the railing of the fountain in the river while bathing.
According to the police, Raj had come with his elder brother, Arjun Bhadoria, and brother-in-law to bathe in the holy Narmada River on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. Raj and Arjun reached the fountain in the middle of the river. Unfortunately, Raj's leg got stuck, and he fell.
People tried to save them; however, it was too late by then. A water boat and some divers took out the body.
Some local residents rushed Raj to the Primary Health Centre in Amarkantak, where doctors declared him dead. The police have registered a case.
Raj was a disciple of an ashram in Amarkantak.
Raj Bhadoria was a resident of Balanpur in Bhind. He was a disciple of an ashram in Amarkantak. He was an emerging bhajan singer. He was studying while staying at the ashram. His behaviour was humble and devoted to spirituality.
