TVS has officially begun deliveries of its flagship electric scooter, the TVS X, marking a significant step in India’s premium EV segment. Priced at ₹2.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the X promises a futuristic riding experience with advanced features and a unique design.
A Refined Launch After a Long Wait
Despite being launched over a year ago, TVS delayed deliveries to fine-tune software and hardware after early reviews pointed out certain glitches. This cautious approach aims to provide a seamless experience to customers. The first batch of deliveries started in Bengaluru at the end of December 2024, with four more cities set to follow in the first quarter of 2025.
Cutting-Edge Tech & Performance
The TVS X stands out with its aluminium twin-spar frame, aggressive styling, and large 10.25-inch TFT display. The latest update brings bike-specific Android Auto, improving navigation and connectivity for riders. Under the hood, it retains the 4.4kWh battery, offering a 140km IDC range and a 105kph top speed.
