Ambani's father Late Dhirubhai Ambani and mother Late Kokilaben Ambani also, worshipped Shrinathji.
Lord Shrinathji is a form of 7-year-old Lord Krishna. Shrinathji temple has over 350 years of tradition.
Ambani also discussed the construction of the new temple for around an hour.
The development came after Reliance Petroleum Retail acquired the polyester business of Shubhalakshmi Polyesters Limited and Shubhalaxmi Polytex Limited.
