Anil Mehta Funeral: Malaika Arora, Arbaaz Khan, Arjun Kapoor & Others Pay Last Respects

Malaika Arora's stepfather Anil Mehta's funeral took place on September 12 in Mumbai. Mehta allegedly died by suicide on September 11 after jumping off his terrace, police said.

Several celebrities and family members paid their last respects to Mehta

Malaika's ex-husband Arbaaz Khan reached the crematorium centre with his wife Sshura Khan

Malaika's ex-boyfriend, actor Arjun Kapoor, was spotted at the crematorium centre. He was also seen escorting Malaika to her car as she left Mehta's house on Wednesday night

Actress and TV host Gauahar Khan was also amongst the first ones to arrive for the funeral. Offering condolence, Gauahar had said, "Sending all my prayers ! May god give u all strength to cope with this loss"

Actresses Shibani Dandekar and Mini Mathur also arrived to pay their last respects

Malaika's close friend Farah Khan and her brother, filmmaker Sajid Khan, were spotted outside the crematorium centre

Actor Arshad warsi and choreographer Geeta Kapur, who judged a couple of dance reality shows with Malaika, also paid condolence to Mehta

Malaika's close friend Kareena Kapoor, who postponed her work commitments to be with her, also arrived. On the other hand, Karisma Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan came together

Sohail Khan and his son Nirvaan Khan came together to pay their last respects

Gauri Khan was later seen visiting Malaika's mother's residence to pay her respects

Shilpa Shetty too visited the Arora household on Thursday evening to extend her support
