Washington: White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders will step down from her position at the end of this month for a possible political future in her home state of Arkansas, US President Trump has announced.
“After 3 1/2 years, our wonderful Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the White House at the end of the month and going home to the Great State of Arkansas... ,” Trump tweeted on Thursday. But he has not named a replacement. Sanders, 36, is the third woman to have served as WH Press Secretary and is one of Trump’s closest aides.
