Islamabad: At least two people were killed and one was injured Tuesday in a blast in Pakistan’s North Waziristan region, a media report said.

An improvised explosive device or a home-made bomb was planted in the Miramshah market which later exploded, Dawn online reported.

Police sources have confirmed that the bomb was triggered with a remote controlled device.

Security forces are investigating the cause behind the blast.
