Washington: Google has agreed to change the privacy policy in the UK to improve the information it provides to people on how it collects personal data followed by pressure from the country’s data protection authority. According to PCWorld, Google has signed an agreement that says that the company is committed to making further changes to the privacy policy to meet the requirements on UK’s Data Protection Act, said the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Google will also ensure that future changes to the privacy policy comply with the law. Google changed its privacy policy in March 2012, combining almost 70 existing policies for different services.
