Aussie in ‘Birthday Suit’ embarassment
Melbourne : A man Australia was left embarrassed after he got stuck in a washing machine where he was hiding naked to surprise his girlfriend. Police greased him with olive oil before rescuing him from his self inflicted predicament.

The man, from Mooropna, north of Melbourne, had climbed naked into the washer on Saturday to wait for his partner to come home, but became firmly wedged.
“He was trying to surprise his missus and became stuck,” Sergeant Tim Gleeson said. Firefighters, paramedics and Shepparton Search and Rescue Squad came to the man’s rescue. It took officers 20 minutes to free the man, with olive oil eventually proving the trick, ‘Herald Sun’ reported. “They greased him up until he was free,” Gleeson said. “It was just a game gone wrong. It would be fair to say the gentleman was very embarrassed,” added Shepparton police Sergeant Michelle De Araugo.

Merkel’s spokesman Steffen Seibert said Monday, the chancellor suffered what she first thought was just a bruise to her left rear pelvic area while cross-country skiing.
Doctors told her on Friday that the injury was a “incomplete” bone fracture that requires her to rest for three weeks. Seibert told reporters that Merkel would cancel a number of official appointments in the coming weeks but continue to lead the government and hold Cabinet meetings.
Merkel’s fall occurred “at low speeds” but he was unable to say if another person was involved.
