Five injured in blast in Pakistan fruit market

Peshawar: At least five people were injured in a blast that today ripped through a fruit market in the tribal region in northwest Pakistan.

The blast occurred in Sadda Bazar of Lower Kurram Agency bordering Afghanistan, officials said.

According to sources, five kilogrammes of explosives were used in the attack and were placed near a fruit shop hidden in a bag.

The injured have been shifted to the civil hospital in Sadda for treatment.
