London: Britain’s population will have a third of Black and Asian people by 2050.
A study by think tank Policy Exchange said predicted that minority groups would soar in number from eight million to more than 20 million, the Daily Star reports.
The study also revealed how ethnic minorities, with the exception of Indians, are struggling to find work, with the jobless rate double the national average, the report said.
Nearly half of all ethnic groups live in Manchester, London or Birmingham.
Brit Pakistanis are mainly based in towns in the north and the Midlands, while over half of all the black community lives in London, the report said.
The study revealed that minority groups have doubled, as the UK’s white population has stayed roughly the same during the past decade, it added.
