Montana: This story is about a black bear that found its way into a home in Montana, US, and restlessly rummaged through the laundry room until, like Goldilocks, the girl who wandered into the den of the three bears, it found a bed that was not too hard, not too soft but just right and settled down for a nap. Police said the ursine somehow made its way into the laundry room of a house and managed to lock itself in. Tired after having torn apart the room, it then found a shelf in the closet that was just right to lie down on and rested there until Friday morning, until it was awoken by the long arm of the law which came knocking at the window and obligingly, also unlocked the door.
A warning had been issued to residents of the area to lock their homes after there were reports of a bear incursion. According to the Missoula County sheriff’s officials, all the bear did was to yawn lazily, when they arrived at the spot and tried to coax it out of the home. They had to call Montana’s wildlife officials for assistance in tranquillising and relocating the mammal.
