Sydney: Queensland Liberal National Party (LNP) MP, Vaughan Johnson has claimed that drivers originating from Asia are poor in road rules although he could not back this claim up with statistics.

Johnson, who has been campaigning for driving and road rules test for foreigners wanting to drive in Queensland stated that he was not against Asians per se, but lamented that the environment doesn’t allow those people (Asians) to comprehend the road rules back in their own nation, reported.

The Gregory MP was however hopeful that testing would be able to reduce the number of foreigners involved in accidents that caused death.
