Peshawar : At least eight terrorists, including foreigners, were killed on Monday when Pakistani fighter jets pounded militant hideouts in Shawal Valley, a mountainous area in North Waziristan bordering Afghanistan.
According to military, the air blitz hit Data Khel and Shawal areas near Pakistan-Afghanistan border, killing eight suspected terrorists, The Express Tribune reported.
The killed insurgents included both local and foreign terrorists, it quoted Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Jet fighters hit targets in Shawal killing the militants.Several militant hideouts were also destroyed in the airstrikes.
