Aden: At least 11 militants, besides two soldiers, were killed Sunday during two simultaneous attacks on army bases in Yemen’s Abyan province, an official said. “The suspected Al Qaeda attackers launched two suicide car bombings on army bases in the town of Mahfad in Abyan, sparking violent clashes that killed two soldiers and 11 militants,” the official said. “Two explosive-laden cars failed to reach the main targets and exploded outside the army posts,” the official said.
