The 400 Blows
The 400 Blows (Les quatre cents coups), a French drama, is a touching story of a misunderstood adolescent. Antoine Doinel is a young boy growing up in Paris during the early 1950s. Troubled and tormented by his parents and an insensitive school teacher, he runs away from both places often. To find some quick money, he steals a typewriter from his stepfather’s office and is handed over to the police for the same.
