Catching up time

Weekend is the time to recuperate, relax, catch up with sleep, with family and friends.

Strike a balance

I love working, at the same time I love my free time. Basically, I enjoy a balance of both. I generally plan the evenings as I often step out to meet my friends, go out for a dinner or a film or hang at someone’s house. At times, I stay home, put my feet up and cuddle with a good book or just watch a series at home. Sometimes I visit my parents and spend my weekend with them.

Voracious reader

I am a voracious reader. Currently, I am reading Autobiography of a Yogi. I read at least one book a week, on an average. Do I party on Saturday nights? It is good to step out once in a while, go to a good club and enjoy the ambience and music with friends.

Spa time

I work out three to four times a week. I generally don’t workout on the weekends but in case I have missed out on working out completely then I do workout on the weekends. I love massages and find them very therapeutic and they de-stress me. I either go to a spa or get a masseuse to come home. Once in six months or so I get a facial.

Early riser

I wake up by 8-8.30 am no matter what time I sleep. It’s a habit and I try to continue sleeping but very rarely do I succeed!

No bingeing

I have never followed a strict diet so the question of bingeing does not arise. I enjoy good food when I go to someone’s home or a good restaurant. I try not to overeat and make sure the next day I am careful in case I have eaten more than my usual quantity. I don’t drive to nearby tourist spots on Sundays. If at all I visit my parents who stay in New Mumbai.

Sonny bliss

I spend a lot of time with my son on the weekend during the daytime. We do some activities together. Spending time with him is very therapeutic. If he doesn’t come home from his hostel then I plan differently. At times I catch up with the backlog of paperwork, clean and organise the house, get a massage, read a book, watch a film etc.

TGIF? Not really

I don’t really feel thankful for Fridays, because our work is such that we don’t have a clear distinction of weekdays and weekends. There are many events, appearances, and shoots which happen on weekends as well.

No Monday blues

I never get Monday morning blues! I love working so I am raring to go.

Weekends then and now

As a teenager, there was a clear demarcation of weekdays and weekends. As an actor there is no difference between a weekday and a weekend.

Weekend plan

My son is visiting this weekend so we plan to spend a lot of time together. I cook a few of his favourite dishes as he loves cooking. We will watch Avengers Endgame, meet his friends and maybe go for a swim.

Web watching

I do binge watch. Especially the shows which get one hooked like Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad and Made in Heaven.
