The 13th President of India Pranab Mukherjee needs no introduction. An influential politician, he is known as someone who speaks his mind. He has served as the President from 2012 until 2017 and has occupied several ministerial portfolios in the Government of India. He was born in a Bengali Kulin Brahmin family in Mirati to Rajlakshmi and Kamada Kinkar Mukherjee, who was a member of the Indian Independence Movement. He earned an MA degree in Political Science and History and LL.B. from the University of Calcutta. You will be surprised to know that Mukherjee was once a professor who taught Political Science at Vidyanagar College in West Bengal.
