This is one moustache you won’t forget in a hurry. What was aptly described by a news magazine as a gunslinger moustache – shaped somewhat like handlebar of a bicycle – may become a fad with youngsters. At least, this is one moustache entire Tamil Nadu wants.
One of the first tweets after the IAF pilot’s release went like this: Wanna grow a moustache like Abhinandan Varthaman!!! Others latched onto the trending topic. One said: I bow to your Abhinandan, Sir!!! U held our moustache high!!! Another was ecstatic: I hope Gillette India have signed up Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman for an ad – all good pilots should sport a handlebar moustache. A question for the FPJ readers, now: How many of you are fancying growing an ‘Abhinandan moustache,’ hitherto known as ‘Madras Regiment moustache’? The best one perhaps was: If our cricketers grow a similar moustache, the World Cup is ours for sure.
