Anacondas are known to be non-poisonous. They are known to spend most of the time in water. In a viral video that surfaced online, a giant anaconda was seen attacking a tour guide in Brazil. The passengers got scared as they did not expect the same.

The attack happened on Joao Severino who was leading a group of tourists on a boat at the Araguaia River in the central Brazilian state of Goias on June 30. The fishing guide saw the snake and decided to show it to the other tourists. When he was shooting the serpent, it jumped and was about to attack.

The 20-second clip shows an anaconda piled under the water between two logs of wood. Severino is not seen in the clip but when the camera was focused on the anaconda it made a sudden attack, that scared everyone.

Luckily the anaconda's bite could penetrate the guide's skin but he got saved.
