After busting a major fraud of manipulating TRP (Television Rating Point) data, Mumbai Police on Friday issued a summons to Republic TV's Chief Financial Officer.
The channel's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, however, hit back at Mumbai Police saying it was an attempt to target the channel for its coverage of the Maharashtra government and also threatened to slap a criminal defamation case against Commissioner of Police Param Bir Singh.
Amid this, a clip of from Goswami's 'Poochta Hai Bharat' show is leaving Tweeple in splits. In the video, the senior journalist is seen goofing up the lines of Bismil Azimabadi's Urdu patriotic poem, 'Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna'.
