Technology has spoilt us, even while searching for a place or location. Nowadays, people prefer searching location on Google Maps rather than asking local people about the correct destination.
But not every time when you are searching for routes, is Google Maps accurate. Sometimes, it can lead people incorrect locations. Google Maps has, in fact, become notorious for its misreading of routes in the state of Goa, a hot tourist destination of the country. A constant mistake by the app occurs as one tries to reach Baga Beach in Goa. The native residents of the city have come up with a banner that warns people that they are not on the right path towards the beach.
The banner reads, “You are fooled by Google Maps. This road doesn’t take you to Baga Beach!!! Turn back and take a left turn, Baga is 1 km from here.” The image of the banner has gone viral on social media. Netizens are having the best time after an image of this banner was shared on Twitter.
