On the occasion of National Doctors' Day, a group of medical professionals from the Rela Hospital in Chennai made a musical video to create awareness among the masses. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the song urges people to maintain COVID-appropriate behaviour.

The professional re-wrote the lyrics of the famous Tamil song 'Shakalaka baby and danced to it in the video.

The video warns people to stay safe and questions the general public about why they hesitate from wearing mask and/or taking vaccine.

The song has been sung by Hiranya, a medical student at St. George's University. The video also features senior citizens and popular celebrities from the Cinema world, including Suhasini Mani Ratnam.

The caption below the video reads, "Rela Hospital in collaboration with Hiranya medical services has come up with this public awareness initiative of requesting everyone to continue wearing the mask and get vaccinated not only to save themselves but also save others around them. We are not done yet with covid and until we get over this infection , we need to safeguard ourselves and those around us. Don’t let the guards down! This will be the biggest contribution that any common man can do to the society as a whole which not only saves others lives but also of doctor‘s lives."
