Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra recently shared a heartfelt letter on his Twitter account which he received from 11-year-old. The letter was sent to him via email and it was written by Mumbai based Mahika Mishra. The heartwarming tweet is captioned, “At the end of a tiring day, when you see something like this in the mail..the weariness vanishes…I know I’m working for people like her, who want a better-and quieter world!”

In the start of the letter Mahika tells how much she loves long drives, cars and bikes but then conveys how bad honking is for the environment, ‘it wastes energy and causes noise pollution.’

She gives the business tycoon an idea to reduce noise pollution. She writes in the letter, “I have a suggestion that you can only honk 5 times in 10 minutes and the honk will last only for 3 seconds. In this way, the noise will be minimised and our roads will be quieter.”

She added, “It would be nice if you will use my idea in cars made by your company. I request you, I really want to see the making of the electric cars as they don’t cause pollution.”

Anand Gopal Mahindra who is the chairman of the Mahindra Group was delighted to receive the handwritten note. Mahindra & Mahindra is one of the largest vehicle manufacturers by production in India.
