Ujjain : Zila Panchayat (ZP)vice-president (VP) Bharat Porwal on Tuesday leveled some serious charges on School Education Minister Paras Jain, referring to pitfalls in the School Chalein Hum, organised by the government to motivate the children for school.
Porwal referring to his random inspection of around a dozen government schools in the district alleged that the Praveshotsav and the campaign is mere eyewash. According to him, he visited around a dozen government school around the region and witnessed serious discrepancies in them while the responsible authorities are sleeping saying holy city is the home of School Education Minister Paras Jain and children are suffering in his regime.
Porwal said that he visited government schools of village Talod, Umaria Khalsa and Lekoda and found that either teachers or students were absent or yet to reach school. At many places the students were not served mid-day meal. He said recently constructed buildings of Talod and Lekoda were found dilapidated and dangerous. He said immediate action needs to be taken on the issue and the education minister should take cognizance of the issue.
