Youth attacked over old enmity

Ujjain: Personal enmity between two families took an ugly turn where a youth, identified as Imran son of Salim Khan, was brutally attacked and injured by three persons. The injured youth was passing through the Pipalinaka area where the assailants were already waiting for him. As soon as Imran reached the area the assailants attacked him, beating him to pulp using iron rods and pipes. Sources said, the youth was also stabbed by the assailants. The miscreants fled the spot after the attack. Locals informed the police who rushed Imran to Civil Hospital, where his condition is said to be critical. The injured Imran informed police that the miscreants had attacked him over old enmity, but he does not identify them. A case was registered by the police.
