Ujjain : A group of college students ‘Avantikeya’ leaving their comfort behind in this chilly weather are busy in collecting ‘Warmth’ for the deprived kids and their families.
Young guns of the City has been collecting sweaters, blankets and winter clothes in association with Apna Sweets from December 12 and this campaign will continue till December 25. On Wednesday group of the students held their ‘Warmth Collection Campaign’ on Ghasmandi square and had chat with more than 250 denizens of the city. Group members informed Free Press that till now around 25 piles of winter clothes has been collected at its main collection center located at Apna Sweets, Azad Nagar.
Denizens can become the part of this philanthropic initiative by donating the winter clothes and blankets at Mahakal Temple on 5 pm and at Kartik fair on 7 pm for the welfare of downtrodden. Schedule of the campaign could also be searched at Facebook by searching #DonateWarmth on the social media.
