Ujjain: A three- day workshop on capacity building and research methods in social sciences research scholars will begin at the Madhya Pradesh Institute of Social Science Research ( MPISSR), here from October 16.

Director of MPISSR Dr atindra Singh Sisodiya said, the National Social Science Documentation Centre ( NASSDOC), New Delhi and MPISSR, Ujjain are jointly organising the workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to create a platform for library professionals and social science researchers to get familiarity with new standards of information technology for their future needs.

The workshop, which has been sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi, will be inaugurated on October 16 by Dr Umesh Kumar Singh, Director of IT department, Vikram University.

Deputy Director NASSDOC, Dr Nutan Johari will grace the event as special guest. Prof Nalini Rewadikar will preside. During the technical session following personalities will speak Dr Ramkumar Dange of BHU, Dr Shivpal Singh NLU Bhopal, Dr Ashish Udawat from CMEE, Prof DC Shah, Sanjay Vyas, Dr Sunil Singh Chandel and Dr Tapas Dalpati. Dr Sunil Singh Chandel has been appointed as event coordinator.
