Ujjain : A workshop on food processing industry was organised at Hotel Mittal Avenue under the joint aegis of Central India Chamber of Commerce and Industries and MSME Association AIMA, here on Friday.
Member of Parliament Dr Chintamani Malviya was chief guest. Rudrapratap Singh Chauhan was key speaker whil Manaklal Giria chaired the programme. Chamber secretary Rajendra Kothari delivered welcome note. Guests were welcomed by Anand Bangur, Manaklal Giria, Dr Rajendra Jain and Yashwant Jain. MP Dr Malviya in his address said that Union and State governments had launched many schemes to promote food procesing industries. He assured for execution of those schemes for the flourishment of the industry. He asked industrialists for bringing new technologies to establish industries.
Key speaker Rudrapratap Chauhan said it was the speciality of the soil of Malwa region that crops like wheat, gram, soybean, fruits, potato, tomato and others are yielded with more protein. Manaklal Giria in his address said that Government of India and State government had been motivating food processing industry. Ujjain based industrialists should come forward. Rahul Singh of Aviva Life Insurance informed about the profits given by insurance firms to industries. Deepak Sanmukhani also presented his thoughts during the workshop.
