In the name of development, people of the city have to suffer with number of problems.

A water pipeline was broken by a JCB machine while rooting out the trees at Sanwer road near Sant Nagar here on Sat

urday morning.

Consequently, water started spreading in the locality and residents could not get proper supply of water due to the leakage in water pipeline.

On Saturday morning, residents of Sant Nagar, Bagpura and adjoining localities did not receive water supply as the pipeline was damaged by a JCB machine while removing the stems of trees being cut for road widening work. Water got spread on the road and caused inconvenience to residents.

Most of the people faced difficulties in getting prepared for their job works as they were not supplied water in the morning. It was a scene of great worry, when residents found that pipeline was damaged and they had to survive under water scarcity for the entire day. The trees cutting not only caused single problem but a pile of problems as telephone, cable and electricity wires were also broken by the workers.
