Vasundhara visits Mahakaleshwar, other temples

Ujjain : Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhararaje Scindia on Monday visited Mahakaleshwar Temple and offered prayers.

She was accompanied by her family and Minister for Woman and Child Development Maya Singh. She did not talk much to media saying, “I am on pilgrimage and will continue it so.” After performing panchamrut pujan, she visited other temples in the city including Harsiddhi Mata Temple, Kaal Bhairav and Angareshwar Mandir. Later she left for Omkareshwar.

Prior to it, Vasundhararaje was given a warm welcome on her arrival at Nagjhiri helipad at the DRP Lines. District minister incharge Kailash Vijayavergiya, MLAs Mohan Yadav and Anil Firoziya were present. She said she would send red granite stones for the Kaal Bhairav temple. Collector BM Sharma presented her the portrait of Mahakal Jyotirlingam.
