BJP state president and MP Prabhat Jha said the present age is of information revolution, and advanced technology should be used extensively.
However, one should be cautious while using it, he said.
He made these remarks at a meeting of partys media managers at the party office.
Jha further said the media managers should their knowledge. ” We should develop a habit to perform consistently with a positive approach,” he added. State organisation secretary Arvind Menon exhorted the activists working in the field of media to concentrate on their work.
State media manager Hitesh Bajpai said information should be exchanged with media persons according to partys ideology.
He advised the divisional media managers to stay in districts for better coordination with media heads. Roop Pamnani proposed a vote of thanks.
Later, addressing the meeting of partys sports cell, Jha expressed concern over present political scenario and said that the current political contest lacks sporting spirit.
He said the sports cell should approach sportspersons and develop a rapport between them and the party.
Sportspersons have a sense of belonging for the country. Although sportspersons represent a specific village or state, sport acts as a binding force in the society, he further said.
Earlier, the meeting began with garlanding the portraits of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Kushabhau Thakre and recital of national song. Meetings of partys Deen Dayal Upchar Yojna cell, Panchayatiraj cell, Vibhukt evam Ghumakkar Jati cell and CA Prakoshtha were also held later.
