Ujjain : Commissioner Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Fair Officer Avinash Lavania discussed over the Simhastha development works to be done in urban areas during a meeting held here on Friday. Lavania sought about detailed action plan to execute development works in the city for smooth conduction of the city.

CMC Avinash Lavania directed officials for finalizing the detailed project reports of development works to be executed in the city for Simhastha Fair-2016. He also sought about the challenges of urban areas during Simhastha Fair. Government will release funds for carrying out different works in urban body. Government has given theoretical approval for the work, but the fund will not be sanctioned until the work plan is not explained through DPR. Lavania asked officials for focusing on street light arrangement across the city. Proposal should be prepared for making arrangements for temporary lights. An effective plan should be prepared for setting up temporary toilets, mosquitos’ eradication, fogging, DDT sprinkle, prevention from the diseases, etc under the head of Cleanliness and Hygiene.

Zonal officials were also asked to present a plan at zonal level for maintenance of building, white wash, culverts, streets, stray cattle menace, potable water, sign boards for visitors and others. CMC Lavania strictly directed officials for fairly describing expected requirements for Simhastha Fair so that fund could be released for the particular cause. They should ponder over each and every minute requirement and necessity of the works and cause which are needed during Simhastha work. Additional commissioner Ravindra Jain, Vishal Singh Chauhan, deputy commissioner SN MIshra, RP Shrivastava, Manoj Pathak, Yogendra Singh Patel and others were present during the meeting.
