Ujjain: Youth stabbed to death for alleged eve-teasing

Ujjain: A youth was hacked to death for alleged eve teasing here on Sunday. The incident occurred at about 6.30 pm at Ganesh Colony Tiraha, Jaisingpura under Mahakal police station.  According to eye witnesses, deceased Yogendra alias Ballu (23), son of Raghu Chaurisiya and a resident of Ganesh Colony, was standing near a tea stall when around four youths reached there and picked up a verbal duel with him.  The verbal duel took an ugly turn and they started stabbing him. Ballu tried to escape from the assailants but the enraged attackers stabbed him multiple times until he breathed his last.

The attackers escaped from the scene after the crime. Some shopkeepers of the area took Ballu to Civil Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.  On being contacted by Free Press, TI Arvind Sing Tomar said main accused Rajkumar resides in the same locality where the deceased resided. According to TI, the deceased was a car driver and had eve teased Rajkumar’s wife around two months ago. He was booked under Section 354 of IPC and sent to jail but was released on bail later.  On Sunday Rajkumar and three of his accomplices have been booked under Section 302 of IPC and a massive hunt is launched to arrest them, the TI added.
