Ujjain: Vidya Bharati holds workshop

Ujjain: Vidya Bharati Malwa convened a Workshop on Thursday at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Mahakalpuram. During the four sessions of workshop district, departmental and state volunteers were given training about the effective use of publicity resources.

Addressing the first session, state head Om Prakash Janglawa made the volunteers aware about the knowhow of publicity and stressed on the promotion of thoughts not the personality of individual. In the second session, journalist Lait Jawel guided the members about writing good stories and also aware them about the technicalities of news writing. Suresh Chuplunkar elaborated the dimensions of social media and its impact on contemporary society.

Organisation secretary Akhilesh Mishra asked members to present the achievements of students of Vidya Bharati in the society. Harishankar Mehta anchored the programme and state rural publicity in-charge Mahesh Vishvakarma welcomed the guests on the occasion. Sudarshan Sishulkar proposed vote of thanks at the end of the programme.
