Ujjain: Students of Vidya Bharti Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan bagged 40 medals in SGFI tournaments. In the felicitation programme for students, institution head Dr Govind Sharma praised the winners for their performance. He said that Akshay Rathore, Sachin Bhargava and Radha Patidar received Rs 40 lakh in five years under ‘Khelo India’ scheme of the Union Government.

Sports head (malwa region) Kailash Dhangar said that with 40 medals, Vidya Bharti secured 11th rank in the country. Spokesperson Mahendra Bhagar said that in Vidya Bharti competition, 428 students of Vidya Bharti Malwa took part in 55 games and secured 290 gold medals. Vice president Kamalkishore Chiylangya was also present. The programme was conducted by Hari Shankar Mehta.
