Ujjain: Manthan Parmarthik Sanstha head Bakirali Rangwala has sought stringent action against Malegaon bomb blast accused and BJP candidate from Bhopal Lok Sabha Pragya Singh Thakur in light of her recent controversial statement on Ashok Chakra recipient Hemant Karkare.

In this regard Rangwala on Saturday sent registered notices to six constitutional heads including President of India, Chief Justice of India, Chief Election Commissioner of India (all Delhi), Chief Election Officer Madhya Pradesh, Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court at Jabalpur and Director General of Police Madhya Pradesh. He said that the then Maharashtra ATS chief and senior IPS officer Karkare was assassinated during 26/11 terrorist attack in Mumbai. Karkare was treated as martyr and Government of India honoured him with Ashok Chakra posthumously.

Rangwala said that Pragya Singh Thakur by making highly controversial and ugly comment against Karkare has created panic across the country. He said that she was granted bail in a bomb blast case on the medical grounds as she claimed that she was seriously ill and cannot get treatment in jail. Flouting the bail terms, she is fighting Lok Sabha elections on BJP ticket and looks fit during her campaigning, he said. He demanded that necessary action should be taken against her soon for her derogatory comments against the martyr.
