Ujjain: To express solidarity, many organisations held meetings on Monday to condemn attack in Pulwama which left over 40 soldiers martyred. During the meeting, people wanted the government to teach a lesson to Pakistan, which perpetrates terror attacks on our soil.
Social organisation of Muslims, ‘Nai Pahal-Nai Soch’ organaised a meeting at Tower Square where community members paid tributes to slain CRPF heroes. Members also observed silence for two minutes. According to spokesperson Shaquaib Qureshi, the community members unanimously condemned the cowardly act of Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror outfit and raised slogans against JeM and Pakistan.
Likewise, Shri Rathore Kshatriya community members paid tributes to soldiers at Rathore Samaj Dharmashala located in Kartik Chowk area. Media in-charge Gopal Rathore said that Dharmendra Magrawa conducted the programme. Some Hindu leaders also took out a candle march from Siddhanath Square to Bhairavgarh Square and paid tributes to the soldiers.
Jaat Kshatriya Society members also took out a vehicle rally and raised slogans against Pakistan. Community member Captain Digendra Singh demanded removal of Section 370 which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Spokesperson Yateesh Jaat said that over 10000 members of the community participated in the vehicle rally.
Shri Gujarati Samaj also paid tributes to the martyrs in a meeting of its executive committee members. The meeting was presided over by Bharat Panchal. Likewise, Satyasai Seva Samiti members took out a silent rally on Monday. Members observed silence in respect of the martyrs. In village Mangola, retired army jawans paid homage to the martyrs and condemned the attack. Jitendra Sing Thakur said that over 20 jawans of the village are serving Indian army now.
