Ujjain: During a joint inspection of route of traditional Shrawan-Bhadav month processions of Lord Mahakal on Sunday evening, the concerned officials reviewed their preparations for the smooth conduct.
The team of officials comprising district administration, police department and Ujjain Municipal Corporation started the inspection on foot from Mahakaleshwar Temple and also visited Kot Mohalla, Gudri Square, Bakshi Bazaar, Paandariba, Ramanujkot, Kartik Chowk, Dhaba Road, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Mandir and Patni Bazaar.
During the inspection, the officials found drains and chambers opened and existence of dilapidated houses enroute. They also found necessity of proper barricading and streamlining the road side vendors.
Smarty City Project CEO Avadhesh Sharma, ADM RP Tiwari, ASP Neeraj Pande, deputy-commissioner Sanjesh Gupta and SE Ashok Rathore were present.
