Ujjain : Centre Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on Sunday.
On this occasion before appearing in the examination the students had to face a strict checking by the authorities.
At some centres students complained indecent behaviour of checking staff during checking. The students also informed that male staff was also checking girl aspirants at some centres.
The apparels of boys and girls were also trimmed at some of the centres. Hair bands, friendship belts, bracelets and foot wears of the aspirants were removed by the authorities. Complaints of cutting hair of girl students were also reported at some centres.
According to norms for NEET examination sari and full sleeves shirts, purse, debit and credit cards, shoes, sunglasses, mobile phones, pen, pencils, hair bands, bangles and hair clips were not allowed either to wear or carry by the students.

Scribe thrashed, ruckus at Takshshela School
A press photo journalist was allegedly thrashed at NEET Centre Takshshela School on Sunday. Photographer Noumish Dubey, who reached the centre to cover NEET examination was reportedly manhandled by the security staff of the school and the principal as well. His camera was also broken during the incident. Consequently miffed journalists of the city reached Nanakheda police station and demanded to take action against the principal M Ganeshan of the school. Nanakheda police told Free Press that so far FIR has not been registered against the principal and the school staff; however complaint letters from both the sides have been received by the police.
