Ujjain: Stage is set for grand opening of Neelganga Bhavan of Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara. A two-day function will commence on Tuesday and hosts of religious and political personalities are expected to participate in the programme. Juna Akhara spokesman Mahant Narayan Giri informed that representatives of all 13 traditional akharas of the country will take bath in the Neelganga located Anjani Mata Sarvorar on June 12 to mark the occasion of Ganga Dussehra festival.
Akhara’s senior most Mahamandleshwar Pilot Baba will dedicate the building. A meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP) will also be held on the evening of June 12 which will be followed by Anoop Jalota’s bhajan sandhya. Juna Akhara patron and ABAP general secretary Mahant Hari Giri reached here and took stock of the arrangements on Sunday. A number of saints and seers including Pilot Baba will reach here on Monday evening. ABAP chief Mahant Narendra Giri will arrive on Tuesday morning.
Mahamandleshwar Arjunpuri Maharaj and Bhrahmachari Kailashanand Maharaj are also likely to remain present. On Tuesday, a bhajan sandhya of Mishra Brothers from Prayagraj will also be organised. Chief Minister Kamal Nath is also likely to participate in the main function. Meanwhile, urban administration and development minister Jayvardhan Singh arrived at the Neelganga Bhavan on Sunday night and talked to Mahant Hari Giri and Shaileshanand Giri with regard to various arrangements.
