Ujjain: Devotees create ruckus, demand return of fare from bus operator

Ujjain: Devotees raised dispute and demanded their fare back from the bus operator on Monday morning. Over 20 devotees who had come from Andhra Pradesh to pay obeisance lord Mahakal, created ruckus for returning the fare back which they had paid to bus conductor in advance for visiting Omkareshwar. The bus operator could not provide 20 seats to them. The irate devotees gheraoed the bus and staged a dharna. The bus driver and conductor were not intending to return them the fare paid by them as the devotees denied travelling by the same bus. After a long dispute local residents persuaded the driver to return their fare.
