Ujjain: Cash, jewellery stolen from cop’s house

Ujjain: Thieves broke into an isolated house in Shivansh Avenue on Dewas Road and decamped with gold jewelleries and Rs 50, 000 cash on Sunday night.

According to information, there was no one in the house, located behind Savyasachi School, at the time of incident, as the house owner Arun Kumar Yadav, posted as a constable with Cyber Cell, went to Firozpur with his family.

The miscreants burned down the wooden gate of the house to make their way into the house. After learning about the incident, brother of Arun lodged a report at Nanakheda police station. Later Nanakheda police transferred the case to Madhav Nagar police station.
