Ujjain: A youth eloping with a girl was arrested by the police near Ghattiya. According to Mehidpur police, the girl had come to Mehidpur from village Antaraliya for treatment of her relative and was waiting at Mehidpur bus stand to return to Antaraliya.
Meanwhile a youth named Mohammed Salwa met her, coaxed her and took her with him to the bus in which he was travelling.
On being informed, the family members of girl chased the bus and stopped it near village Ghattiya. Later they handed over the boy to the police. The police arrested the accused and registered an FIR after recording girl’s statement against him.
