Ujjain: Following the announcement of his name for Lok Sabha election from Ujjain-Alot constituency by BJP, Anil Firojia arrived here on Sunday at around 10 am and went to Mahakal Darbar to pay obeisance. Firojia is a former legislator from Tarana constituency. BJP divisional media incharge Sachin Saxena informed that after paying obeisance to Lord Mahakaleshwar, Firojia reached Lokshakti Bhavan with his followers. There he was welcomed by the city BJP presidents Vivek Joshi and rural unit president Shyam Bansal in presence of hundreds of party workers.

Addressing the gathering Joshi congratulated Chintaman Malviya for creating history and making the state proud by advocating reservation for Other Backward Classes though he himself belonged to Schedule Caste. At the end of programme, Firojia expressed his heartfelt thanks to Baba Mahakal and to party leadership for trusting his capabilities and entrusting him with bigger responsibilities again. He said that it is not just he but every worker of the party is contesting the election.

With this thought all should go to the people seeking their blessing to elect the most able watchman. Divisional organising secretary Pradeep Joshi, MLAs Mohan Yadav and Bahadur Singh Chouhan and Mayor Meena Jonwal also addressed the gathering. Many leaders from the party were present on the occasion. Suresh Giri conducted the programme and Ashok Katariya proposed the vote of thanks.
