Ujjain: A fake bank manager who duped people by asking their ATM pins has been arrested by the police. According to cyber police an unknown person duped a localite Shashikant Padlikar, resident of Ingle compound.
According to victim, an amount of Rs 19,999 was withdrawn from his bank account after being asked the ATM pin over phone. On the basis of the statement of the victim the police registered an FIR against the unknown miscreant and started investigation.
Following this Jaggu Mandal and his brother in law Jaleshwar Mandal from Giridih (Jharkhand) were arrested.
During interrogation both the accused broke down and confessed to their crime. According to police both have victimised many innocent people by now. Police said more details about bank account of accused are being collected.
