UDA issues notices to contractors for delay in construction of houses

Ujjain: Development Authority ( UDA) chairman Kishore Khandelwal and board of directors inspected construction sites at Triveni Vihar and Kshipra Vihar on Tuesday. UDA authorities ordered for qualitative and timely completion of construction sites to contractors.

UDA authorities issued notices to the contractors of Triveni Vihar 24 M- 1, 24 LIG, 300 EWS and Kshipra Vihar 50 EWS for not completing construction in the time. Khandelwal ordered contractor to shift transformers installed in front of houses to aside road for avoiding mishap.

He instructed to complete the construction of 24 LIG houses before July 25. 26 senior MIG houses will be completed by December 2013 and these will be allotted to people on January 6, 2014. They ordered that allotment of 50 EWS quarters of Triveni Vihar and Kshipra Vihar will be done on July 29. 100 houses will be constructed soon and indicated as high priority houses./ Construction of an entrance gate was ordered by UDA authorities, while members also had keen eyes on 268 multi EWS houses, which they termed as Chief Minister’s dream project. These houses shall be completed before Dussehra.

These houses would be allotted to people by Diwali. Houses will be installed with roof water harvesting system and neem saplings would be sowed aside streets. UDA vice- chairmen Anil Firoziya and Madanlal Lalawat, board of director Bhuralal adav, Chief Executive Officer in- charge VK Tiwari, executive engineers SK Shah and KC Patidar also accompanied the inspection team. UDA board of directors conduct an inspection of a construction site in Ujjain on Tuesday.
