OUR STAFF REPORTER BHOPAL Heavy vehicles will be restricted in the city following the Independence Day programme at Motilal Nehru Stadium ( parade ground) on Monday.

Giving this information on Saturday, the traffic police said the

entry of heavy vehicles will be banned from 6am.

However, they can pass through Khajuri and Anand Nagar bypass road. The vehicles with permit will also be banned in the city till 12. The traffic in the city will also be diverted from 7am. The traffic from Jinsi Crossing to Shabban crossing, from MP Nagar to Parade ground will be restricted. The traffic from Roshanpura to Bharat Talkies will be diverted to PHQ, Bharat Talkies to TT Nagar will be diverted to Board Office crossing. The mini buses from TT Nagar to railway station will be diverted from Apex Bank to Aishbagh railway crossing. The red pass holders can enter the ground through the gate near home guard office while Blue pass holders can enter through the gate near the police petrol pump. The green pass holders can enter through ITI gate. The vehicles coming with students can enter from gate number 6. The audience without any pass can enter through Prabhandh gate. The traffic police had also requested the audience to park their vehicles only at the parking lot provided by the department. The audience should also avoid carrying hand bags, garlands, mobile phone and eatables with them.
