Teenager gang raped, 4 booked, 3 held

Ujjain  :  The Chimanganj Mandi police on Wednesday booked four persons for raping a 17-year-old girl. Three of them were arrested by the police, while one is still at large. The prime accused was identified as Karan Sisodiya and his three accomplice including Piyush, Chotu and Sonu. All the accused were booked under sections of gang rape and IT Act as Karan had allegedly prepared an explicit video of the girl.

Police said the victim girl of Dhancha Bhawan had filed a complaint that on Tuesday, her friend Karan had forcibly taken her to some house in the nearby area on his bike, where he and his three friends raped her around six months ago. The girl had recently appeared before the ASP Asit Yadav, who had ordered the registration of a case. The victim girl is a student of engineering at a private institute. The victim in her plight to police said, first the prime accused Karan befriended her, and then one day he lured her to house and then intoxicated her. Karan then raped her and prepared a video.

Later the three other accused also raped the girl by threatening her of publishing the video in the social media. The four had been torturing and raping the girl for past months by blackmailing her with the alleged video. Taking the brave step the girl lodged a complaint with police. The police acting swiftly nabbed three accused   including Karan, Piyush and Chotu, while one Sonu is still at large. SI Rajkumari Parmar said the last accused will also be nabbed soon. A case under Section 376-D, 506, 384, 325 SC-ST act and 66 IT act has been registered against the accused.
