MCh ( Gynecological Oncology) ( General) A few seats in each of the programmes are sponsored by Government t Regional Cancer Centres and Government Medical Colleges, Armed Forces Medical Colleges, BMC and Government Medical Colleges ( having Oncology Departments) and other cancer hospitals.
Who? Indian nationals can apply according to the following: . DM ( Medical Oncology): Possess a MCI recognised postgraduate degree ( MD or equivalent) in General Medicine or Radiotherapy . MCh ( Surgical Oncology): Possess a MCI recognised postgraduate degree ( MS or equivalent) in General Surgery or ENT ( Ororhinolaryngology) or Orthopedics . MCh ( Gynecological Oncology): Possess a MCI recognised postgraduate degree ( MS or MD Gynecology equivalent) in Gynecological Surgery Other requirement: Passed the qualifying examination – MD/ MS ( General Surgery) or equivalent in no more than two attempts.
Those who are currently doing any DM/ MCh/ DNB ( SS0) are not eligible. Candidates who have Test prep
appeared for the MD/ MS/ DNB exam this year may apply within the last date of application and if selected, candidate should have final result at the date of interview ( viva).
Age Limit: Not more than 40 years on the day of CET How? There will be one MCQ type of paper with 120 questions to be completed in 180 minutes for each of three subjects. Each correct answer will fetch one mark. There is negative marking of half mark for each incorrect answer. The 120 MCQ will include clinical case and problem solving questions also.
When? This year it is on July 15, 2012 at four centres – Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai. The CET brochure can be downloaded from the website www. tmh. gov. in.
The completed application form with all enclosures must reach the office of the Director, Academics, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai on or before May 31, 2012.
